CALLUS: A Deep Pain
Set during a time of civil war in Nepal, this film tells the story of a woman who falls in love with a Maoist fighter seeking shelter in her home. Their brief but intense relationship leads to an unexpected pregnancy, and the couple escapes to a remote place in search of a new life together.
However, their fragile hope is shattered when the man leaves to return to the war, never to return. Left alone and pregnant, the woman must navigate a future shaped by love, loss, and survival.
